GlucoRx Wellness Terms of Service
1. The service
GlucoRx Wellness is a general wellness app: it displays data from a Vixxa CGM you pair and from your device's health platform (Health Connect / Apple Health) with your consent, computes wellness trends and scores, lets you log food, activity and notes, store health documents, and talk to Keya, the AI companion inside the app. Feature and device availability varies by region due to product availability and local regulatory requirements. Hardware (sensors, scales) is sold separately by regional sellers under their own terms.
2. Not medical advice — important
GlucoRx Wellness is a wellness app, and Keya is its AI companion — not a doctor, and not a medical device. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness or medical condition. If you live with a medical condition such as diabetes, GlucoRx Wellness is not a way to manage it: do not use GlucoRx Wellness or Keya in place of your prescribed devices, medication, treatment plan, or the advice of your care team — and never start, stop, or change any treatment because of anything the app shows or Keya says. Use GlucoRx Wellness only alongside the medical care your healthcare professional provides. It does not replace the alarms or readings of your prescribed CGM system, and notifications can be delayed or missed due to your phone, Bluetooth, permissions, or sensor state. If you feel unwell, contact a qualified healthcare professional. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
3. AI features
Keya, the AI companion inside GlucoRx Wellness, generates responses automatically using AI. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies or omissions, is not reviewed by a healthcare professional, and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always confirm important information with a qualified professional. You can report any AI response in-app; we use reports to improve safety.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 to use GlucoRx Wellness. If you are between 13 and 17, use GlucoRx Wellness only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required by local law. You're responsible for your sign-in credentials and for the accuracy of information you provide. One account per person; you may delete your account at any time in the app or at /delete-account.
5. Your content
You own the content you add (logs, photos, documents). You grant us the licence needed to store and process it solely to operate GlucoRx Wellness for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Don't upload content that is unlawful or that you don't have the right to use.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse, probe, or disrupt the service; attempt to access other users' data; reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the app except where law permits; use GlucoRx Wellness to develop a competing service; use the service unlawfully; or rely on GlucoRx Wellness or Keya for any safety-critical purpose.
7. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use GlucoRx Wellness on your own devices. All rights in the app, brand, and content (other than your content) remain ours or our licensors'.
8. Third-party services
GlucoRx Wellness interoperates with third-party services (Health Connect, Apple Health, sign-in providers) and links to third-party sites (including hardware sellers). Those services are governed by their own terms; their availability is not within our control.
9. Assumption of risk
Wellness information — including glucose displays, scores, patterns and AI responses — is informational and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. You accept that you use it at your own discretion and remain responsible for your health decisions with your care team.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, and our aggregate liability is limited to £100 (or the minimum permitted by law if higher). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or unlawful use of the service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop using GlucoRx Wellness and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the service, with notice where practicable. Sections that by nature survive (2, 3, 5 licence to your stored data pending deletion, 9–14) survive termination.
13. Changes
We may update these terms; we'll update the date above and notify you in-app of material changes. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of mandatory consumer protections and courts of your country of residence where applicable law provides them.
